mySearch is an interface which allows you to search across a range of library resources simultaneously, including books, journal articles and databases.
Every academic unit will have a reading list with the details of the key books and journal articles you should read. You can access the reading list via the unit on Brightspace.
When you find an item on mySearch, the book record will display a shelfmark that tells you where the item is shelved.
The shelfmark will look like this: 006.6/LAN
The shelfmark is based on the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme and is displayed on the spine of the book. The numbers denote the subject of the book and the letters are the first three letters of the author's surname.
