Saved searches, articles and other content in the generic folders in the classic EBSCOhost interface

will be migrated to the Saved area in the new interface.

Content can then be moved into the Projects area, where you can set up Projects (equivalent to Folders) to organise your searches and saved records.

Excel export

Separately, from the new interface, you can generate an Excel report of folders and content previously saved in the classic EBSCOhost interface. To do this, follow the instructions for EBSCOhost custom folders (next box on this page). Content provided in the spreadsheet covers both custom folders and generic folders.

Saved searches, articles and other content in custom folders in the classic EBSCOhost interface are not migrated to the saved content area in the new EBSCO interface.

To retrieve details of this content after the migration, you can export to Excel from the Project area in the new interface, 

  1. Go to new EBSCO interface
  2. Sign in to your MyEBSCO account
  3. Go to the Projects area in the Dashboard section

  1. Generate an Excel report of these folder and their content

  1. Review the sections in the spreadsheet, e.g. 

 

Search keywords and how they are combined with AND and OR can be found in the Query string column
