Referencing and Plagiarism: Home

Most BU students follow instructions in the BU Harvard Referencing guide.

If you're a BU student studying one the following courses, you use a different referencing style and other instructions:

• Law students (FMC) should follow BU’s online guides Referencing – UK & EU Law and Referencing – International law.
• Psychology students (SciTech) should follow APA style.
• History students (FMC) should follow Chicago Style.
• Criminology with Psychology (HSS) students need to use both BU Harvard and APA

• Criminology with Law (HSS) students use BU Harvard and OSCOLA referencing style guidance - UK & EU Law and International Law.  Any questions please email HSS Library Team (hsslibteam@bournemouth.ac.uk).
