Skills from the ResLifeBU team

Did you know that the ResLifeBU team offers a series of workshops for life skills, including cooking, study skills, budgeting... all things that contribute to your wellbeing? Click on the image below for more information.

Reading for pleasure

Books - and libraries - are good for you! Reading reduces stress and depression, and research from  the charity Booktrust, based on a survey of 1,500 adults, reveals that 76% of adults say reading improves their life and makes them feel good.

During the coronavirus pandemic and while our campus is closed, why not check out what's available in our e-book collection at BU via the Library catalogue. You can use keywords such as fiction or literature or poetry - or whatever topic or genre you are interested in.

You can also join, for free, any of the local public libraries in your area which will give you access to a huge range of books, e-books, e-audiobooks and e-magazines. See their online registration here.

Share Your Story

Please tell us about your experience of using libraries. Can you recommend any good books to help others improve their wellbeing? Your comments will be completely anonymous.
