Scopus and Web of Science

Most of the information listed here can be found on Scopus and Web of Science, which can be accessed via the alphabetical list of library resources:

Document count

This is the number of documents published by an individual or group of individuals.

This can be found on, by searching authors on:

  • Scopus
  • Web of Science 

 

h-Index

This is calculated by finding out the number of articles written by an author that have at least received the (h) number of citations.

e.g.: an author has written 10 articles (5 have been cited 10 times, the other 5 have been cited 100 times), in this case the h-Index would be 5 because 5 articles have at least been 10 times)>
