What is Hansard?

Hansard (the Official Report) is a "substantially verbatim" report of proceedings in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

Where can I find a Select Committee report?

Both Houses of Parliament have Select Committees. Their task is to scrutinise the workings of government and to publish reports of their findings.

Where can I find a Command Paper?

Command Papers are government publications presented to Parliament "by Command of His Majesty". They include Green Papers (government consultation documents) and White Papers (government policy documents). A Command Paper is usually identified by a sequence of letters and numbers, e.g. Cm 8865.
