The ALS team support students who have sensory/physical disabilities, Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs), medical conditions, mental health difficulties and/or temporary injuries.
If you are likely to need support, please contact the ALS Team as soon as possible so reasonable adjustments and one-to-one support can be tailored to your individual needs.
Their office is on the ground floor of the Sir Michael Cobham Library, DLG17.
If you have a disability-related concern, your first step should be to contact the Additional Learning Support (ALS) team. They can offer information, advice, and guidance tailored to your needs.
Once you’ve spoken to ALS, they will usually notify a librarian about who you are and any specific library support you may need.
However, you're also welcome to contact a librarian directly if you have questions or would like to discuss how the library can support you.
Please see the information below for contact details for your specific faculty library team.
