Citing in the main text of your work

When citing a webpage, do not insert the URL (web address) in the body of your text. Use the organisation or company as the author. Webpages often do not include page numbers, so are not present when quoting.

• e.g. Bournemouth University (2012) suggest “A quotation would be inserted here”.
• e.g. BU Library and Learning Support's Facebook page (2020)...

Referencing in list at the end of your work

Social media entries may only be kept on servers for a short time and may not be recoverable. You should retain a copy and consider including it in an appendix.

Organisation/Surname/Family Name, INITIALS., Year. Title of page/entry/post (if applicable). Title of website. Day Month Year (if applicable). Available from: URL [Accessed Date].
