PAL Academic Course Contact Guide: FMC Strategy

Important: the information on this page is for the 23-24 academic year.

FMC has been confirmed to be delivering PAL sessions face-to-face for the 23-24.

Front loaded approach - 13 sessions in total

Semester 1

  • 9 sessions delivered weekly (weeks 14-22)

Semester 2

  • 4 sessions at ‘key touch-points’:
    • 2 weeks’ mid semester (weeks 36 and 38)
    • 2 weeks near the exams (weeks 44 and 45

As part of this year's strategy, PAL Leaders are allocated an hour session during Induction Week to carry out any welcome activities with their seminar group. 

*There may be some variation in these weeks where sessions are not in a position to start in week 14.
