Key contacts in PAL

Hi everyone!
This post contains useful information about who to contact for various PAL queries. All of these people are here to help and support you, so please do get in touch if you need to!

Timetables - Faculty timetablers

If you find that you need to reschedule a PAL session for reasons such as illness or clashing, you can do this by contacting your faculty timetabler. If you are unsure who this might be, you can find out on our PAL Central guide, here: https://libguides.bournemouth.ac.uk/palcentral/timetabling

We recommend that PAL Leaders reschedule rather than cancel sessions, so that students still get support and that you still get the PAL Leader experience, so please do this where possible and make sure to notify your seminar group of any sessions that are affected!

Programme specific questions - ACCs

Your PAL Academic Course Contact [ACC] is a member of staff from your programme who is there to be your main point of contact for PAL. They will be able to assist with any specific programme matters. If you are unsure who your ACC is, you can find out here: https://libguides.bournemouth.ac.uk/palcentral/keycontacts/palacc

Anything else! - The Central PAL Team

If you haven’t seen our faces before, then you can find out a little bit about the members of our small team here! - https://libguides.bournemouth.ac.uk/palcentral/meet
If you are ever unsure who to contact, always get in touch with us first at PAL@bournemouth.ac.uk and we can do our best to direct you, or answer ourselves! You are also welcome to CC us into any communications with anyone else, if you think the topic may need our attention or awareness.
We also offer frequent/weekly drop-in support sessions on a Friday, where you can discuss anything with us. It's been great seeing some of you there!
