Pay claim reminder: November (change of deadline!)

by Peer Assisted Learning on 2020-11-23T16:56:00+00:00 | 0 Comments

Make sure you don’t miss the next upcoming deadline for pay forms –Friday 27th November 2020. Here are a few reminders when submitting your pay claim:

  • The pay claim deadline is usually the first of every month, however this month [November], Payroll have made it is slightly earlier due to the upcoming Christmas holidays. Any work carried out on Monday 30th November should be included on a separate pay claim along with any December hours, which should be submitted by the January pay claim deadline.
  • Please send your timesheets to paltimesheets@bournemouth.ac.uk.
  • If you’re unsure on how to complete the form, you can find an example timesheet on your role-specific PAL Central (please see the links below).
  • Please ensure that you have separate pay forms for separate months, for example October hours should be on one pay form and November hours should be on a different pay form.
  • For each session, you can claim one hour for delivery, and thirty minutes for preparation time.
  • Make sure to clearly mark which Peer Assisted Learning role you are; PAL Leader, Placement PAL, or Peer Support Leader.

Please note: Usually, you would need your post and employee number on your claim, however the Central PAL Team are still waiting on a few of these numbers from PTHP. We will distribute these once we have them, but for now you can submit this claim without this information and you will be paid. For future pay claims, you will have these numbers to input yourself. If you do have these numbers already, please input them, otherwise leave them out!
